fuckyeahtattoos:

This is my first tattoo, located on my left ribcage. It reads “I solemnly swear that I am up to no good,” from the third book of the Harry Potter series.
As much as I could rave about how much I love the books and how they were a huge part of my childhood, it wouldn’t hold a candle to how much I enjoyed growing up with my 2 brothers and sister, and the strong bond between us that these books helped create. The four of us all are all extremely different, but the Harry Potter series was something that brought us together. I knew I had to get something to commemorate it, now that we’ve all grown up, moved across the globe, or started families. We’ll always be kids in my eyes.
It was done by Danny Derrick at San Luis Tattoo Co., in San Luis Obispo, CA. He’s a fantastic American Traditional artist, and legitimately one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
So here is to Matthew, Patrick and Leah, may we be forever mischievous.
